The selected crew members—Obaid Alsuwaidi, Kristen Magas, Tiffany Snyder, and Anderson Wilder—will live and work inside the Human Exploration Research Analog (HERA) facility, starting November 1, 2024. HERA is a 650-square-foot habitat designed to mimic the conditions of deep space travel, including isolation, confinement, and communication delays.
