Elon Musk’s New Ventures
Following the PayPal sale, Elon Musk used his share of the proceeds to fund several ambitious projects. He founded SpaceX in 2002 with the goal of reducing space transportation costs and making space exploration more accessible. SpaceX has since achieved numerous milestones, including the first privately-funded spacecraft to reach orbit and the first privately-funded spacecraft to dock with the International Space Station.
In 2004, Elon joined Tesla Motors, Inc. (now Tesla, Inc.) as chairman and later became its CEO. Under his leadership, Tesla has revolutionized the electric vehicle market and expanded into energy storage solutions. Musk also founded SolarCity, which was later acquired by Tesla, and co-founded Neuralink and The Boring Company, further diversifying his portfolio of innovative companies.

He later co-founded The Kitchen Restaurant Group, which focuses on community-oriented dining and sustainable food practices.
Kimbal also co-founded Big Green, a non-profit organization dedicated to building learning gardens in schools across the United States.
